A family run business.
Port Townsend Paddlesports is a small family owned business. Kayaking, stand up paddling and biking are this family's passions and Steve and Amy, along with their two children, try to get out and play as often as they can.
Steve has been kayaking for over 20 years and running this business allows him to share his love of the water with everyone. Watching the tides, currents and weather is also something Steve loves. Steve loves sharing his local knowledge of the area, how the currents run, and best places to paddle. New to the area? Steve is more than happy to pass on some local tips and advice.
Or, join him on a tour! Paddle to downtown and enjoy some coffee, a slice of pizza or an ice cream before paddling back. For a longer tour, join him as he paddles out to Glass Beach for a picnic lunch.
On the other hand, you might prefer to rent and explore Fort Worden State Park on your own. Look for bald eagles, porpoise, seals or river otters as you paddle along the bluffs of the state park. Both a guided tour or renting will guarantee you a fun time. Every rental and tour comes with a short lesson.
Whatever you choose, you’ll be able to see the amazing views of the Northern Cascades, Mount Rainier and Mount Baker.
So grab your sunscreen, water bottle, family or friends and Port Townsend Paddlesports will provide the rest.
